MENDORONG PERTUMBUHAN PDB (PRODUK DOMESTIK BRUTO) INDONESIA MENJADI DUA DIGIT
Selama bertahun-tahun, Indonesia berjuang untuk mencapai pertumbuhan PDB dua digit. Narasi berulang untuk menjadi pemain ekonomi besar dunia berikutnya, tumbuh seperti China, belum pernah terwujud.
Meskipun memiliki sumber daya alam yang melimpah dan populasi besar, Indonesia tidak pernah mendekati pertumbuhan PDB dua digit. Selama ini, pertumbuhan pertumbuhan maksimum “hanya” 7-8% tahun-ke-tahun.
Untuk mencapai pertumbuhan PDB yang tinggi secara berkelanjutan dalam jangka panjang, kita perlu membedah dan menganalisis secara kritis apa yang terjadi hari ini. Dan pada saat yang sama, memiliki imajinasi tinggi tentang masa depan Indonesia yang lebih baik…

Tentang Dipo Satria Ramli
The Execution Economist, Mantan Direktur Investment Bank, 75 Hard Finisher
Berbekal keahlian di bidang Computer Science dari SUNY Albany, New York (Lulus dalam 2,5 tahun Cum Laude), karier Dipo dimulai sebagai software engineer di California, Amerika Serikat.
Selanjutnya, Dipo meniti karier di sektor keuangan sebagai Analyst di ABN AMRO Securities Indonesia. Setelah beberapa tahun, ia mencapai posisi Direktur Investment Bank di Macquarie Capital Indonesia, sebuah bank investasi internasional yang terpandang.
Selama periode ini, Dipo juga meraih gelar Master of Business Administration (MBA) di Instituto de Empresa, Spanyol.
Dipo juga berpengalaman pada bidang kredit karbon hutan Indonesia dan inisiatif konservasi. Saat ini, ia aktif berkontribusi pada investasi, konsultasi, dan memimpin inisiatif dalam perusahaan rintisan.
Dipo Satria Ramli adalah Kandidat Doktor S3 bidang ekonomi makro di Universitas Indonesia.

For years, Indonesia struggled to achieve double-digit GDP growth. The repeated marketing narratives about becoming the next great world economy, growing like China, never came to fruition.
Despite having the right ingredients, such as abundant natural resources and a large population, Indonesia never came close to double-digit GDP growth, with a maximum of 7-8% growth year-on-year.
To reach sustainable high GDP growth over the long term, we need to critically dissect and analyze what is happening today. At the same time, having a great imagination of what the future could be…

About Dipo Satria Ramli
The Execution Economist, Ex-Director Investment Bank, 75 Hard Finisher
With a solid foundation in computer science from the University at Albany, New York (Graduated in 2.5 years Cum Laude), Dipo’s career first started as a software engineer in California, United States.
He then transitioned to the financial sector, beginning as an analyst at ABN AMRO Securities Indonesia and eventually rising to the role of Director, Investment Banking at Macquarie Capital Indonesia, an esteemed international investment bank. During this period, Dipo pursued a Master of Business Administration at Instituto de Empresa, Spain.
Dipo was also involved in Indonesian forest carbon credit and conservation initiatives. Presently, he actively contributes to investments, consulting endeavors, and spearheads initiatives within startup ventures.
Currently, Dipo is a PhD candidate in macroeconomics at Universitas Indonesia.
